My client, a leader in transportation solutions, is seeking a skilled and dedicated High Voltage Operator & Commissioning Technician to join their team on the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport (SMWSA) Project. This is an onsite position where you will play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of HV equipment and the ongoing network operations.About the OpportunityAs the High Voltage Operator & Commissioning Technician, you will work closely with the Installation and Commissioning Manager to ensure the project’s success. Your expertise will be vital in leading specific delivery aspects, including the detailed planning and review of project designs and methodologies. You will be instrumental in the safe and efficient commissioning of HV electrical equipment and performing necessary switching operations once they are energized.You will also be responsible for:Executing site installation and commissioning activities as directedPreparing and reviewing HV switching instructionsPerforming electrical switching operations for the DNSPCoordinating with multi-disciplinary site teams and external partnersEnsuring compliance with project frameworks and safety proceduresContributing to the quality assurance process, including documentation and record-keepingWhat You'll Bring to the TeamWe are looking for a highly skilled professional with a proactive and safety-first mindset.
