Market leading and growing national civil contracting business with blue chip clients Challenging and varied projects from $2m to $30m+, excellent pipeline Excellent career progression and company culture Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as demolition, excavation, capping, cut and fill, remediation and rehabilitation etc. Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join their growing business. Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects. Types of projects include demolition, excavation, cut and fill, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5 to $25m but can go up to $30m+ and will be managing multiple concurrent projects. This project will be site based in the Hunter region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working on tenders Planning and scheduling of construction activities Management of site project teams Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management Preparation of management reports Resolving site issues in a timely manner Liaising with key clients and stakeholders Coordinating internal and external resources Business development Recruitment and mentoring of teams Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar 7 – 15+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $40m+ Project management qualifications will be advantageous Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate Effective problem solving abilities Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations High level of organisation and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click on “Apply” to submit your resume.
