💼 $110,000 - $130,000 + Super | Bids & Commercial TeamShape the Future of FM Bids & Commercial SuccessBGIS is seeking a commercially savvy Commercial Analyst / Estimator to join our high-performing Bids & Commercial team. In this pivotal role, you'll design pricing strategies and financial models that underpin our success in winning and retaining facilities management contracts across Australia.This isn't just about crunching numbers-it's about building smarter, competitive bids that help us stay ahead of the market. You'll work closely with bid managers, finance, and operational teams to deliver solutions that balance risk, innovation, and client value.What You'll Do
- Lead Estimation & Pricing: Develop accurate, competitive cost models for Hard Services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and Soft Services (cleaning, grounds, security).
- Drive Commercial Insights: Build dynamic financial models, assess margin/risk, and support negotiations.
- Support Winning Bids: Prepare pricing schedules, commercial responses, and provide commercial clarity throughout tender processes.
- Analyse & Advise: Turn complex data into actionable insights to guide internal stakeholders and strengthen BGIS's commercial position.
- 4-6 years' experience in commercial analysis or estimating, ideally in Facilities Management or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of cost drivers for PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and RM (Reactive Maintenance).
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, with experience in financial modelling and analytics.
- Sharp analytical mindset, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced bid environment.
