Practice Manager - Property & DevelopmentWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to join our Property & Development division in Melbourne.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the legal support team (Legal Assistants and Law Clerks) to ensure legal support services are
maintained, informed and operating efficiently.
  • Monitor legal support workloads and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Manage legal support resources including leave coverage, office attendance and overtime approvals.
  • Conduct regular legal support group meetings.
  • Recruitment of legal support staff, with relevant principal.
  • Conduct probationary, performance and remuneration reviews for legal support staff, having fully incorporated
appropriate feedback obtained from principals, lawyers and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor the performance of legal support staff and where appropriate implement strategies to address areas of
improvement (in conjunction with the relevant principal and support from P&C).
  • Monitor and manage staff wellbeing.
