- Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
- Work closely with project managers and internal teams to gather information and provide visibility across budgets, claims, variations, and progress payments.
- Monitor contract milestones and manage variations, extensions of time (EoTs), and other commercial matters.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within contracts while supporting dispute resolution when required.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract documentation, correspondence, and commercial queries.
- Serve as a key point of contact for contract-related queries, liaising with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to contract processes, policies, and systems.
- Provide administrative support to the contracts team as needed, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Proven experience in contract administration or a similar role.
- Ideally, a qualification in Law or Quantity Surveying.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to interpret and draft contract terms and conditions.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Hourly rate of approximately $75 to $110 AUD, depending on experience.
