PIRSA’s work underpins the strength of our regions, ensuring they continue to thrive as the backbone of the state’s economy.The opportunity has emerged for a visionary and strategic leader to join PIRSA as Director, Strategic Communications and Engagement, presenting the opportunity to shape the voice and reputation of the Department, and position the branch as a trusted, strategic and critical partner to assist in achieving optimal organisational performance and productivity through the delivery of impactful campaigns and initiatives aligned to PIRSA’s objectives.As Director, you will lead a high-performing branch responsible for PIRSA’s communications and engagement strategies. Your leadership will ensure that internal and external communications are clear, consistent and aligned with government priorities, while also managing reputational risk and emerging issues with confidence and foresight.This role requires a dynamic communicator and collaborator with a proven track record in leading complex communications and engagement functions. You will bring deep experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement, brand management and strategic planning, along with the ability to harness data and insights to inform decision-making. Your ability to build strong relationships across government, industry and regional communities will be essential to your success.
