
Sales Executive

- Creating targeted advertising schedules across all audio channels, based on briefs received from advertising agencies.
- Grow market share & revenue across your client base.
- Understand the market trading conditions and negotiate trading discounts in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
- Facilitate the sale of program sponsorships, sports sponsorships and spot packages. • Day-to-day contact with key agency contacts.
- Accommodate and prioritise a number of concurrent advertising campaigns. • Problem solving within the context of the job.
- Lead, manage and mentor an Account Executive.
- A thorough understanding of media systems and measurement metrics.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and account management skills.
- Proven experience in sales, client-side marketing, or a media agency environment is essential. Prior experience in audio sales will be highly regarded.
- An appreciation of the market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
- Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in Google Suite also desirable.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to varying group sizes.
