AI Engagement LeadAbout our client:Our client is a leader in professional services and consulting, providing a wide range of services including strategy, consulting, technology and systems integration, and operations to a range of clients across Government, Financial Services, Utilities and more.About the role:The AI Engagement Lead is an expert in co-envisioning, co-design, and AI strategy consulting. You will brings a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to driving successful AI adoption.This role requires the ability to shape strategic AI initiatives with clients from early ideation through solution design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological feasibility.The ideal candidate excels in stakeholder engagement, fostering strong relationships across business, technical, and executive layers to co-create value. They are adept at facilitating workshops, aligning diverse perspectives, and translating complex AI concepts into actionable strategies, ensuring all stakeholders remain invested and informed throughout the journey.This is a contract role, initially until end December 2025, based in Perth, WA.Required Experience:Professional Expertise
  • Co-envisioning and Co-design Leadership - Proven ability to facilitate collaborative ideation and design sessions with clients, aligning AI solutions to business goals.
  • Strategy Consulting - Experience shaping AI and digital transformation strategies, with a track record of translating strategic vision into practical execution roadmaps.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Exceptional ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
  • Facilitation & Communication Skills - Skilled in guiding multi-disciplinary teams through complex discussions, ensuring clarity, consensus, and shared ownership.
  • Change Leadership - Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing resistance, and fostering buy-in during transformational initiatives.
Technical Expertise
  • AI and Data Literacy - Strong understanding of AI concepts, use cases, limitations, and ethical considerations to inform solution design and adoption strategies.
  • Solution Architecture Awareness - Familiarity with AI solution patterns, integration approaches, and data pipelines, enabling informed discussions with technical teams.
  • Design Thinking & Human-Centered Design - Ability to apply structured frameworks for user needs analysis, journey mapping, and prototype validation.
  • Industry Insight - Knowledge of industry-specific AI trends, regulations, and competitive landscapes to ground recommendations in real-world context.
  • Tooling and Platforms - Awareness of leading AI platforms, cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP), and emerging technologies to guide technology selection conversations
