Eligibility: Open to EveryoneWe are currently seeking applications for the Manager, Digital Applications Development, to join the Information Technology Team (ICT) at The Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of 12 months with the possibility of an extension.Remuneration: ASO8 ($121,107 to $125,679 p.a)About the Opportunity:The Department of Treasury and Finance is looking to transform and modernise their operations and way of working, using digital as one of its levers. The department has commenced the establishment of an internal Centre of Excellence (CoE) for its digital services, transforming the existing Information and Technology branch into a high-quality enabler for its broad business.The Manager, Digital Applications Development role is integral to this transformation, responsible for setting objectives and direction for the department’s digital application development services instilling a culture of high-quality customer service and continuous improvement using contemporary change management practices.About you:The role reports to the Assistant Director, Digital Application Services and is responsible for leading and managing the application development delivery capability by addressing issues such as operational planning, resource allocation, staff development, team management and communication to ensure effective and efficient deployment of staff and resources to ensure client and business outcomes are achieved.If you are someone who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, are curious and always looking for ‘a better way’ to do things, are outcomes-focussed, want to be part of a digital transformation ‘movement’ from the beginning, and are up to having a bit of fun along the way, this opportunity could be for you.About us:The Department of Treasury and Finance is located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD and has a vision to make South Australia a better place to live, work, do business and raise a family through their contribution to government policy and decision making and the provision of efficient services.
