Based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide | Hybrid / WFH

As the Senior Test Lead, you will play a pivital role in the organisation as both a Project and Practice Test Lead. You will initially be working on Projects to understand the environment, tools and framework as well as getting to know the key stakeholders. Over time you will transition into more of a Test Practice Lead where you will be looking after Triage, Test Estimation, Test Reporting, Test Leadership etc. In order to be successful in this role you will need to be a Senior Test Lead who is passionate, confident and capable, who has strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. You will need to be a leader who is happy to be hands on at the same time be a supportive mentor for a team of around 6 established Testers.Role Description

The Senior Test Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on testing activities across Information Technology projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
This role combines the strategic oversight of a Test Lead with the hands-on execution of a Test Analyst, providing leadership in defining test strategies, managing test environments, and establishing efficient information flows to support seamless integration of testing into development processes.
The Senior Test Lead will collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors to ensure testing activities address both short-term project needs and long-term quality goals. Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methods, along with expertise in widely used testing tools, is essential.
Additionally, the role requires a strong understanding of business domains to ensure the IT solutions delivered effectively meet business requirements and objectives.
This position demands a proactive approach to fostering quality assurance and driving excellence in testing practices while effectively balancing leadership and hands-on responsibilities.
