
Sales Analyst

- Contribute to accurate short- and long-term sales forecasts, in partnership with Planning, across key accounts and channels, by reviewing customer sell out, and sku performance, whilst minimising E&O risk and air freight spend, whilst in accordance with regional KPIs
- Partner with cross functional teams to refine demand plans based on promotional calendars, seasonality, and market conditions, and ensure these align to the inventory investments of the business.
- Continuously improve sales forecasting accuracy by collaborating with Planning, identifying trends, variances, and market signals, and ensuring these findings are shared with the wider business
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales performance, sell-through, stock cover, and retailer promotional effectiveness.
- Analyse category trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to deliver actionable insights to sales and marketing teams.
- Identify opportunities and risks through data modelling, scenario planning, and ROI analysis of promotional investments, in accordance with regional KPIs
- Analyse NPI launches by providing the business with detailed post launch reports, detailing successes, failures, and recommended next steps
- Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure alignment between sales forecast and revenue targets.
- Support pricing, margin analysis, and promotional ROI tracking.
- Contribute to monthly business reviews with relevant data packs, KPIs, and commentary.
- Provide KAMs and BDMs with data support for range reviews, buyer meetings, and commercial proposals.
- Optimise sales funnel visibility by tracking pipeline progression, opportunity conversion, and channel health.
- Assist in the development of sales materials and pitch decks with compelling data narratives.
- Act as the analytical hub between Sales, Planning, Product, and Finance to ensure integrated decision-making.
- Assist with sales target setting and KPI definition in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Support go-to-market planning and post-launch reviews for new product introductions.
- Analytical Expertise – Strong numerical, data modelling, and reporting capabilities; able to turn complexity into clarity.
- Forecasting Precision – Experience managing forecasts in environments with long product lead times and channel variability.
- Business Acumen – Understands key levers of revenue, margin, ROI, and promotional effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Able to align and communicate effectively across sales, planning, and finance teams.
- Systems Proficiency – Advanced Excel skills required; experience with BI tools (Power BI, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce) highly regarded.
- Commercial Thinking – Balances analytical rigour with commercial context to drive decisions.
- Initiative and Ownership – Self-starter with high attention to detail and accountability for outcomes.
