We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our team in Darra. This is a 3-month temporary-to-permanent role on the afternoon shift, perfect for someone with a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain. You'll be the backbone of our afternoon operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.Who will you be working with?
Our client is a leading Australian steel processing company known for the production and processing of high-performance materials. They pride themselves on providing customer-specific services and are a key player in the manufacturing industry. As the Dispatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the logistics network on your shift. Your main duties will include:
- Ensuring all dispatch processes are followed accurately and efficiently.
- Understanding and managing con notes and supply chain requirements.
- Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Initially working a morning shift for training before transitioning to the afternoon.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also have:
- A fit and healthy physique, capable of handling heavy items.
- Prior experience in a Dispatch coordinator or similar role.
- Knowledge of con notes and a strong understanding of supply chain requirements.
- Experience with Forklift (counterbalance LF) and SAP would be beneficial but are not essential.
