- Lead and manage a team of Two Specialists to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage the preparation and review of Monthly BAS, Annual IT & FBT returns
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on changes to financial regulations and proactively adapt policies and procedures as necessary.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
- CA or CPA qualified
- Proven experience in a senior finance role with a focus on compliance.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
