With a strong commitment to a values-based culture, we celebrate over 60 years of success and development.Macmahon is seeking a results-driven Maintenance Superintendent to lead both mobile and fixed plant maintenance at our Byerwen operation. This is a key leadership role focused on delivering safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance outcomes across one of Queensland's leading hard coking coal sites.About the Role

Conduct Safe Act Observations (SAOs) and proactively address unsafe behaviours or process deviations to uphold Macmahon's safety standards and statutory obligations.
Guide and support supervisors and trades in executing equipment repairs and overhauls, with a focus on minimising downtime and maximising fleet availability.
Identify and implement optimisation initiatives across mobile and fixed plant maintenance to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Work closely with production and planning teams to align maintenance priorities with operational needs, ensuring plant reliability and availability targets are met.
Monitor and enforce adherence to site standards, work instructions, and statutory procedures across all maintenance activities and personnel.

Proven leadership in open cut coal maintenance, ideally across both mobile and fixed plant environments.
Strong technical knowledge of mining machinery, processing infrastructure, and shutdown coordination.
S1, S2, S3, current Coal Board Medical, and relevant RIIs.
