Our client, a Federal Government Agency is seeking skilled Test Analysts to join a dynamic ICT project team. This role focuses on testing activities to validate and enhance the design and functionality of various service systems as part of the ongoing large-scale technology modernization initiative.As a Test Analyst, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors within an Agile environment. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive test plans, executing functional, integration, and regression tests, and producing detailed test reports to ensure systems meet business requirements and maintain the integrity of electoral processes.Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing test plans, cases, and scenarios consistent with business objectives and service level requirements.
  • Proficiency using tools such as Microsoft Test Manager and Azure DevOps
  • Working alongside project test teams, business areas, and IT staff to manage test cycles and issue resolution.
  • Engaging with development teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure robust software delivery.
  • Reporting and tracking defects, assisting in issue triaging, and maintaining high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
The role supports the Program's goal to re-engineer business processes, enhance data management, ensure legislative compliance, and replace aging ICT systems integral to fair and efficient services.Our client values strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse teams. Candidates must have experience in test processes, proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Test Manager and Azure DevOps, and a proven track record working in Agile environments.Essential criteria:
  • Active Baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
  • Experience in test preparation, execution, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
Desirable criteria include:
  • Tertiary qualifications or certifications in Information Management or Computer Science.
  • SQL querying skills, test automation experience, and programming knowledge.
