Medical Administration Officer
Permanent Full-Time Role - Parkville (City) Campus.
Classification: HS1 Salary Range ($58,442.80 - $64,610) (+ super and salary packaging)- This important entry level role works with our friendly healthcare team to help provide front desk and office administration services for the Radiation Therapy department.
- Being comfortable and capable to work in a busy healthcare environment is essential.
- Excellent telephone manner and the ability to provide appointment related information to patients and their carers is an important part of the role.
- Experience using EPIC Electronic Medical Record and Mosaiq is highly desirable but is not essential. Full training is provided.
- Full time position. 76 hrs per fortnight with 1 RDO per fortnight.
- Daytime working hours only - no night shift work.
- Shifts range from: 7.30am - 4.30pm, 8.00am - 5.00pm or 9.00 - 6.00pm as rostered.
- Occasional Saturday or public holiday shifts may be required.
- 5 weeks Annual leave per annum. + 17.5% loading.

1. Administration/Clerical • Attends regular department meetings for clerical staff.
- Efficient clerical services provided within specified time frames.
- All reports, correspondence completed in accurate and timely manner.
- 100% of all reports and general correspondence completed in given time frame.
- Good relationships with departments within across Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre are maintained at all times.
- All patients informed of delays in service delivery as appropriate.
- 100% of patient data accurately collected.
- 100% of information available for clinic consultations.
- 100% of patients receive correct appointments, including notification of cancellations.
- 100% of telephone calls answered within four rings.
