We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join a Tier 1 civil contractor delivering the earthworks and pavements package on a major road infrastructure project in the Hunter Valley. This role offers the opportunity to work with one of Australia's leading contractors on a high-profile regional project.Role Details:

Contract: 3-6 month temporary role
Location: Hunter Valley, NSW
Start: Immediate / ASAP
Scope: Earthworks and pavements package
Client: Tier 1 Principal Contractor

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations for the earthworks and pavements package
Manage QA processes, ITPs, and technical documentation
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
Monitor safety, quality, and progress to meet project milestones
Provide technical engineering support to ensure compliance with specifications

Key Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Previous experience on TfNSW or major road projects
Strong background in earthworks and/or pavements
Proven ability to manage QA and site coordination
Available to start immediately and commit to the project term
