- Manage maintenance labor and contractor activities in line with workplace policies, operational needs, and long-term asset strategies.
- Lead and drive team performance through regular one-on-one meetings, clear goal setting, and structured performance reviews.
- Ensure departmental adherence to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHS&E) standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Develop lifecycle cost models and strategic plans for equipment maintenance, replacement, and resource optimization.
- Oversee resource allocation and expenditure in accordance with established processes and budgetary guidelines.
- Foster a culture of reliability-centered maintenance and continuous improvement using data-driven, evidence-based approaches.
- Provide leadership on Industrial Relations (IR) matters, ensuring effective communication, compliance with agreements, and a collaborative work environment.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support the overall objectives of the organisation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in asset maintenance, industrial engineering, or terminal operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of SCADA systems, PLCs (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Schneider), and handling equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing skilled, blue-collar teams in demanding and regulated industrial environments.
- Working knowledge of Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) and experience in port or terminal engineering operations.
- Lean, Six Sigma training or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
