Senior Structural Integrity Engineer - Mining, Infrastructure and Delivery

- Working within a team of local professional engineers to deliver the structural assessment programs.
- Conduct structural integrity inspections to existing facilities, identify defects and undertake risk assessment accordingly.
- Provide practical recommendation and solution for remediation works in brownfield sites.
- Able to work independent, provide supervision and guidance to other non-senior members
- Lead the assigned project activities to ensure all projects are delivered to meet quality requirements within allocated budget and timeframe.
- Follow WSP's HSE procedures and ensure all works are executed in a safe manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Member of Engineer Australia, CPEng required.

- A Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experiences in structural engineering design and project management, experience in mining is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Consolidated structural engineering design or analysis experiences for concrete, steel, heavy equipment supports.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Experienced with relevant Australian Standards, demonstrate understanding for industrial practice and constructability.
- Multi-tasking and fundamental understanding of project delivery.
- Sound knowledge of HSE and experienced with risk assessment.
- Result driven and able to work independently.
- Adelaide based and frequent site travel is required.
- Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Practical experience with AutoCAD (essential), Advance Steel (preferred) and Autocad Plant 3D
- Experience with Navisworks, Inventor and Revit not essential but highly regarded
- Previous mining/industrial infrastructure experience essential
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Knowledge of CAD software and ability to use it to check drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to identify errors and discrepancies
- Communication skills to liaise with engineers and designers to resolve issues
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to drawings and design
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with working with point cloud surveys would be highly regarded
- Extensive experience in a similar role
