- Ability to interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Assist in defining the project scope and objectives for client projects, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- As this role involves coordination with global teams, and clients across multiple countries and timezones, this position involves being able to support flexibility in working hours.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress while identifying and mitigating risks
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
- Create and maintain revenue forecasting by updating monthly milestone forecasting
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Craft and coordinate communication plans that will keep all project participants updated and aware of the project status
- Manage expectations with clients and internal resources
- Assume the role of trusted advisor to clients based on knowledge of client requirements and Instructure best practices
- Track time for all tasks against the applicable projects
- Excel in an environment with constant change
- Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
- 2 or more years' experience with project management in an enterprise software (preferably SaaS) environment
- Required experience with formal project management methodologies
- Experience working in a higher education or K-12 setting preferred
- Highly effective communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills, both with technical and non-technical audiences
- Impeccable attention to detail with a command of project management tools
- Proven ability to work effectively, independently, and in a team-based environment
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Contribute to internal continuous improvement discussions by documenting, analyzing and sharing client feedback throughout project assignments
- Ability to operate in ambiguity of new client business problems and rapidly develop a plan and path forward with very little direction or oversight
