Are you a skilled Senior Advisor – Enterprise Risk looking to advance your career with a respected WA Government entity? Based in Fremantle, near Perth, this permanent full-time role offers the chance to lead enterprise-wide risk initiatives aligned with ISO 31000 standards.In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and strengthening the organisation’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, supporting senior leadership with strategic risk advice and embedding a strong risk culture across the business.What you’ll do:

Lead continuous improvement of the ERM framework, policies, and risk management systems
Partner with senior managers to identify, assess, and mitigate emerging and operational risks
Facilitate risk workshops and support risk owners in implementing mitigation plans
Manage and optimise risk reporting platforms, producing dashboards for the Board, Executive Leadership, and Audit & Risk Committee
Deliver tailored risk education and awareness programs to build organisational capability
Provide expert risk management advice to guide strategic decision-making
Ensure integrity and accuracy of risk data and documentation
Champion a proactive risk culture throughout the organisation

What you bring:

Tertiary qualification in Business, Risk Management, Engineering, or related discipline
10+ years’ experience leading enterprise risk frameworks in complex organisations, preferably within government or critical infrastructure sectors
Strong knowledge of ISO 31000 risk management principles
Proven ability to facilitate workshops and coach risk owners
Experience managing risk systems and preparing detailed risk reports
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to design and implement effective risk training programs

Preferred:

Experience in government, transport, logistics, or critical infrastructure sectors
Familiarity with control assurance frameworks and CGR Foundation
