This role offers the chance to take ownership of high-impact projects that sit at the intersection of IT and accounting, driving meaningful change across the organisation. You'll work closely with stakeholders to shape project scope, deliver innovative solutions, and ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.This 12-month contract role reports directly to our Managing Partner, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of the organisation and contribute to impactful, high-profile projects.Your Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of accounting and IT-related projects, from initiation to closure.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst to map out project scope, milestones, resource needs, risks and measurable success outcomes.
- Support development and rollout of training, documentation, and support frameworks for staff impacted by system/process changes.
- Monitor and report on project outcomes and realisation of expected benefits.What We Are Looking For
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or equivalent)
- 5+ years experience in project management roles, ideally within an accounting, finance, or professional services firm.
- Proven ability to deliver IT and operational projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of accounting workflows, compliance cycles, and client service models.The William Buck Difference
