That's why we are looking for a new Fleet Manager to be the expert behind the scenes, keeping our fleet safe, reliable and ready to hit the road. This role is responsible for strategic asset purchases and disposal, maintenance of the vehicle fleet, ensuring accreditation compliance across all states, optimal safety and functionality, and cost-effectiveness.You will oversee maintenance schedules, manage vendor relationships, and make sure every vehicle meets the highest safety standards. You'll also play a vital part in shaping our fleet's future - forecasting needs, building renewal strategies, and training our leaders so they're confident and capable on the road. This is a full time role which can be based anywhere in Australia, with travel requirements nationally.Some of the experience you bring with you might include:Qualified Diesel MechanicMinimum 5 years' senior technical experience in fleet management, maintenance and repairDemonstrated experience in scheduling and managing a large diverse fleet in AustraliaProficient in the use of Office365 and particularly in Microsoft Excel, and strong administrative skillsA sound understanding of driving and commercial licensing regulatory requirements within AustraliaStrong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work flexible hours and travel for work as requiredOur people reflect the diversity of our customers and the communities we visit:Intrepid is made up of 71 nationalities in over 30 countries, and we recognise that diversity makes us a stronger business.
