- Support the ongoing implementation of the clinical governance framework.
- Lead and drive design, rollout, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Report quality outcomes to the state and nationally drive continuous improvement initiatives to benefit both patient and employee groups.
- Provide strategic oversight on accreditation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with national safety and quality standards (e.g., NSQHS).
- Support staff safety and quality capability building
- Represent quality and safety as a key member of the state leadership team.
- Contribute to national quality projects as part of the broader quality team.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare management or quality.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment and proven experience to be able to adapt quickly to change.
- Working experience and strong knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
- Experience with quality systems, SharePoint/Intranet, and risk/incident management tools.
- Strong background in developing and delivering training in the area of quality and safety, and working collaboratively with project teams, subject matter experts, and a range of stakeholders, to build a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement and compliance.
- Expertise in document standardisation and control, internal audit, compliance and process mapping.
- Proven analytical and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma or similar methodologies is a plus.
