Job Category: Frontline Trades and LabourJob Description:These positions will support the Defence Contract for delivery of Estate Management and Operations Services (EMOS) contract to the Department of Defence SNSW & QLD region. The Groundsperson is part of the team responsible for the operational day to day delivery of the Land Management Services

Free parking, uniforms, PPE and land maintenance equipment is supplied
Family friendly roster - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Operate all equipment/machinery in a safe manner
Ensure PPE is used for required tasking
Mowing
Brush cutting
Edging
Pruning
General gardening
Green waste clearing and removal
Weed, Pest & Disease control

Qualifications:We are looking for motivated applicants who can meet the following:

Demonstrable experience in grounds maintenance and experience in operating grounds maintenance equipment
Able to perform inherent physical requirements of the role
Vehicle and valid Open Class Drivers Licence
MR Licence (preferred)
Chainsaw Operators Licence or certificate (preferred)
ChemCert Certificate (preferred)
Ability to obtain and retain a Defence security clearance
Australian Citizenship Mandatory
Asbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred)
