Troocoo is proud to partner with a leading Tier 1 mining organisation, based in Perth’s CBD for a minimum 12 month contract.This globally recognised company is currently seeking a Contract Specialist to join their high-performing team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a range of high-value projects across the business.This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex contracts within a well-established and supportive environment, while contributing to the success of major capital projects within the mining sector.Key responsibilities

Maintaining a high standard of end-to-end procurement and contract management across a portfolio of capital contracts.
Leading key commercial negotiations and ensuring supplier partnerships deliver long-term value.
Development and impementations of sourcing strategies for the project.
Liaising with senior project stakeholders to deliver strategic procurement outcomes.
Anticipating and mitigating supply chain risks across project lifecycles.
Driving supplier performance and contract compliance.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality commercial deliverables, including data-driven strategies.
Providing a high level of engagement with internal stakeholders while influencing and managing external supplier relationships.

Skills and experience

Proven experience in end-to-end contract management, including tendering, evaluation, and negotiation within large capital projects - ideally in the mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
A strategic mindset with the ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative approach to working across multidisciplinary teams.
