As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and automation processes across the site. You'll play a critical role in reducing downtime, optimising equipment performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a highly automated environment.Key Responsibilities:
MaintenanceConduct routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and plant machinery.Diagnose faults in motors, switchgear, sensors, and power distribution.Ensure compliance with Australian electrical safety standards and internal protocols.Automation & ControlMaintain and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and SCADA systems.Support control system upgrades, calibrations, and commissioning activities.Collaborate with the engineering team to drive efficiency and reliability improvements.Documentation & SafetyKeep accurate records of maintenance work and system changes.Assist with electrical schematics, drawings, and compliance documentation.Promote and adhere to WHS practices and participate in risk assessments.What You'll Bring:A-Grade Electrical LicenceExperience in a manufacturing or industrial settingHands-on experience with PLCs and automation systemsStrong diagnostic skills and understanding of industrial electrical systemsAbility to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot VSDs, motor controls, and sensorsCommitment to safety and continuous improvementWhat's On Offer:Full-time, stable position in a growing business * Immediate start availableModern production facility with cutting-edge automationSupportive team culture with opportunities for upskilling
