We're looking for passionate educators to deliver the 22614VIC - Certificate II in Building and Construction (Pre-apprenticeship - Carpentry) to senior secondary students (Years 10-12) across a network of partner schools in Melbourne's south-east and beyond.This is more than just teaching, it's about building confidence, trade skills and life-readiness in young people at a pivotal time in their lives.What you'll do

Deliver practical, hands-on carpentry training aligned to the 22614VIC Certificate II program
Work with students in Years 10-12 enrolled in VETDSS, VCE Vocational Major, or VPC programs
Foster safe, engaging, real-world learning environments - in classrooms and workshops
Travel between a small group of schools
Collaborate with a supportive, passionate training team

What you'll bring

Trade qualification in Carpentry or Building & Construction
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or nearing completion (TAE)
Experience teaching in VET, TAFE, or senior secondary settings (preferred)
Strong communication, engagement and behaviour management skills
A genuine passion for helping young people succeed in life and work
Working with Children Check
