Our federal government client is seeking experienced, highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientists to work in their Data and Actuarial Division.As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:

Researching and implementing innovative techniques and interdisciplinary methods to solve business issues with a focus on application of AI/data science and statistical techniques.
Designing statistical, mathematical, and various data science models to conduct analytical work that addresses business issues, departmental initiatives, and the development of new products for the department.
Collaborating across teams, building relationships within the division and other stakeholders in the department

The successful candidate must have:

5+ years of actuarial / data scientist experience
Experience with complex internal or external stakeholder engagement and management
Proficient Python or R programming skills including data manipulation, analysis and model development/deployment
Demonstrated experience in application of Artificial Intelligence, particularly in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to extract information and design of decision-support systems
