Friday, 9 January 2026 0830-1700 8The locum consultant in the Psychiatric Emergency Service (PES) is responsible for management of patients in Mental Health Intensive Care Unit (MHICU) which has 8 beds and also Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC) which includes patients presenting to emergency and also PECC beds where we have 4 short stay beds. We have registrars working in PECC who are on a shift roster and they need to be supported in this role in generating a management plan.
