The SSU is designed to manage patients requiring extended observation or treatment beyond the typical emergency department timeframe, while the Transit Lounge supports efficient patient flow by accommodating those awaiting discharge, transfers, or ongoing care arrangements. Our team works collaboratively to deliver safe, high-quality, and timely care, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient experiences.Lead and support a dedicated nursing team in a fast-paced environmentOversee patient flow and resource management in the Emergency Short Stay UnitCollaborate with other departments to ensure safe, effective, and timely careFoster a positive team culture focused on excellence and continuous improvementWhat you’ll bringYou’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.
