We are seeking a Commercialisation Co-ordinator to bridge the gap between product formulation and production. In this pivotal role you'll guide the journey of new products from managing procurement of packaging materials, impacting product appearance and developing sales strategies to put the product out to market.
Our client is a leader in the health and wellness manufacturing industry, renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation. With a strong reputation for developing and producing high-standard products, they operate within a regulated environment, adhering to strict GMP, HACCP, and Quality Assurance standards.
You'll be working closely with a variety of internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and purchasing, as well as external partners like freight forwarders and our diverse client base. You'll be an essential point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure smooth product launches and customer satisfaction.What will you be doing?
- Managing packaging design and specifications and ensuring all proofs and signoffs are obtained.
- Managing new product commercialisation timelines
- Attending product launch meetings and tracking all related tasks
- Sourcing packaging quotes and suppliers for new products and negotiating pricing for raw materials
- Provide key advice on product container sizing and type to optimise freight and manage the export logistics process
- Coordinating with freight forwarders to ensure all export requirements and legislation are met
- 5 years + experience in a similar role
- Food manufacturing industry, commercialisation or food packaging highly regarded
- Experienced in export process and procedure or prepared to learn.
- Supplier and Project Co-ordination
- Negotiation skills
- Problem solving and solutions identification
- High level of attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal, particularly in relation to customer contact via phone and email
- Confident and sound decision-making skills.
