- Work a long side a first responder traveling to various locations to attend public reported gas leaks
- To work as part of an efficient team under the general direction of a supervisor or Co-Ordinator.
- Supply investigation & rectification.
- Respond and Classify gas leaks as per the APA Group Leak Management Plan.
- Re-light appliances for end-users.
- Pinpoint probable sources of gas leaks using equipment provided.
- Drive vehicles safely and efficiently with or without trailers
- Deliver, Install and remove CNG bottles when required
- Assist in the development and review of APA procedures and other projects
- Maintain constant awareness of personal safety and that of colleagues and the public
- Work in an outdoors environment is exposed to a wide range of conditions
- Comply with the Dispatching and acknowledge programs that APA use to optimize the activities for this work
- Comply with APA Policies and legislative requirements
- Work overtime when required
- Participate in the development of new work practices
- Attend to duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner
- To work collaboratively and treat fellow team-members with respect to support a team environment.
- Available to commence or continue your career with APA in January 2026
- Ready to ask questions, work hard, listen, and learn from your mistakes
- Enjoy working outdoors and getting your hands dirty
- Able to listen carefully, follow directions in the interest of safety for yourself, the team, assets, and environment
- Able to work in confined spaces / at heights
- Licensed to drive a motor vehicle
