The Development and Sales Executive position is a pivotal member of the Executive Leadership Team, accountable for driving profitable and sustainable growth of LPE’s embedded network business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the Development and Sales team to:
- Secure contract renewals and retain existing customers through outstanding account management.
- Acquire new sites by positioning LPE as the provider of choice for competitively priced, innovative solutions.
- Develop the next generation of infrastructure solutions – including distributed generation, battery storage, EV charging and smart technologies.
- Provide strategic leadership in partnership with the CEO and Board to grow shareholder value and market share.
- Rebuild brand and reputation through stakeholder engagement, advocacy and clear market positioning.
- Drive growth through new customer acquisition, contract renewals, and innovative infrastructure solutions.
- Lead and develop the Sales team to deliver strong performance, pipeline activation and customer satisfaction.
- Improve profitability of sites, products and services across solar, EV, battery and billing solutions.
- Contribute as an Executive Leader, fostering a positive culture, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
You are a commercially astute leader with deep knowledge of the Australian energy market and proven experience in driving profitable growth. You combine strategic vision with operational discipline, and you thrive on building trusted relationships with customers, partners, regulators and government.
You will bring:
- A passion for leading strategic change with a values bases approach to leading by example
- Degree qualifications in business, management, or engineering (postgraduate desirable).
- Proven P & L responsibility and a track record in driving profitable business growth
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to influence within regulatory and political environments
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience working in a listed company and/or property sector will be highly regarded.
