This role will see you supporting three lawyers in the day-to-day conduct of their files, primarily on motor vehicle property recovery files. The team have a strong pipeline of work and offer a collegiate and friendly environment.Under the guidance of an experienced Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for working together to support the team with all administrative requirements including:
  • Diary management using Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Drafting correspondence and documents, and collating briefs to Counsel.
  • Telephone calls with clients, Courts/Tribunals, other law firms, and third parties (i.e. expert witnesses etc.)
  • Preparation and filing of court documents including subpoenas, tender bundles etc.
  • File management including file opening and closures, electronic file management, physical document management when required and updating reporting inputs
  • Monthly billing, including invoicing and preparation of bills. Previous experience with Aderant/Expert Billing will be highly regarded.
