Our client is a Nationally recognized commercial builder delivering New Build, fit-out and refurbishment projects. They are looking for a Senior Estimator to work on a multitude of tenders valued up to $50M, with a focus on commercial, government, and hospitality projects.You will be working closely with the Estimating Manager and joining a well-established pre-construction team.Your duties will include:
Preparation of initial estimating assessment of tenders.
Perform trade break ups of documentation, appropriate trade subcontractor selection lists, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required scope of works and programme.
Final preparation and presentation of rated and coded Bill of Quantities and/or cost plan for internal review and issuing appropriate information to stakeholders.
Comparison and analysis of subcontractor pricing.
Regular meetings with subcontractors throughout the tender period to ensure the most competitive pricing and accurate bids.
Required experience:
Proven Estimating experience on commercial construction, fitout and refurbishments valued from $10m+
Proactive problem solver but also able to ask for help if required.
Ambition to commit long term to the business
