- Provide expert advice based on a strong understanding of employment law and our HR policies
- Provide coaching and support to managers to ensure they carry out people management effectively and fairly
- Working with all stakeholders to ensure that we manage industrial relations effectively
- Support with the negotiation of enterprise agreements as required
- Provide interpretation of the terms of the Agreements
- Coordinate performance and development objective setting process to ensure they are completed on time and in line with organisational goals, utilising Success Factors
- Provide advice, assistance and training to the business on performance management and development issues to ensure fair processes are carried out at all times.
- Degree qualifications in HR, IR, Employment Law or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of post-degree work experience in a related role.
- Prior experience in Construction, Service / Maintenance, Heavy Industrial or Manufacturing industries will be highly regarded.
- SAP HR module experience or similar system highly regarded
- Strong understanding of industrial relations, unions and Australian employment legislation with demonstrated experience across unionised workforces.
- Skilled at coaching managers throughout all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Passion for helping employees be the best version of themselves.
