- Highly developed financial modelling and data analysis expertise, including conceptual and analytical skills to interpret data to find meaningful and actionable insights, including accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire an understanding of, housing and homelessness policies, including an understanding of the complex social and economic factors that impact on Tasmania's housing market and the development of affordable housing options, together with the provision of housing and homelessness services.
- Highly developed time management skills, with demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure, often according to complex rules and procedures, and be adaptive to change.

- Current Driver's Licence.
- Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People (child related activity) registration.
