You’ll work on an 8 days on, 6 days off, roster (with some nightshift) which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.Reporting to the Supervisor Plant Shutdowns, you will:Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards, policies and proceduresAppointment as Statutory Supervisor under WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 with the functions as per Schedule 26Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operationsFoster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practicesCollaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of dutiesProvide appropriate coaching, mentoring and technical support to Fixed Plant ShutdownPro-actively coordinate and support planned shutdown execution activitiesProvide technical and safety support to shutdown supervisors and maintainersProvide coverage for Supervisor when on leave/absentExpert in maintenance systems such as SAP, Critical Orders, warranty, work and shutdown managementPrioritise emerging and break in work in shutdowns by coordinating logistics, labour and materialsAssist with CMS when requiredWhat you’ll bringA commitment to the safety of yourself and your teamA current C Class driver’s licenseRelevant trade qualification (mechanical, electrical, fabrication), preferredDemonstrated Fixed Plant knowledge and experienceExperience in Daily work management systems; SAP and PrometheusLeadership experience and confidence in leading, developing, and coaching team membersStrong communication skills and be comfortable liaising with various stakeholdersBe highly self-motivated and being able to demonstrate a history of continuous improvementWhat we offerBe recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress.A work environment where safety is always the number one priorityA permanent position working directly for Rio TintoA competitive base salary reflective of your skills and experience with Annual incentive programComprehensive medical benefits including subsidised private health insurance for employees and immediate familyAttractive share ownership planCompany provided insurance coverExtensive salary sacrifice and salary packaging optionsCareer development and education assistance to further your technical or leadership ambitionsOngoing access to family-friendly health and medical wellbeing supportLeave for all of life’s reasons (vacation/annual, paid parental, sick leave)Exclusive employee discounts (banking, accommodation, cars, retail and more)Where you will be workingTom Price is located in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our original Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly in fly out employees.
