This role is a 6-month max term contract role.As the Finance BP, your role is to act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to business leaders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that drive business performance.This role is responsible for deepening business partnerships, providing commercial and financial guidance, and supporting decision-making to achieve organisational objectives. The Finance Business Partner ensures financial strategies are aligned with business goals and fosters a culture of value creation and continuous improvement.The core accountabilities of the role will include:
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for assigned business units.
  • Analyse business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive results.
  • Develop and present business cases for new initiatives and investments.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance against targets, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.
The capabilities needed to be successful for this role are:
  • Undergraduate Degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Economics, Accounting).
  • CPA/ CA qualified.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar finance role delivering analysis, insights and financial support across diverse business environments and teams.
  • Post Graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (highly desirable).
  • Deep knowledge of the payments technology, IT systems and the financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks as they relate to finance matters.
  • Experience in people management preferrable.
