THE ROLEAs an MQBS Student Assistant, you will provide support and assistance across a range of Macquarie Business School events, workshops, seminars, outreach initiatives and administrative functions.To support this work, your tasks may range from:Assisting with the setup/packing up of events, and associated logistics and deliveryProviding support for online workshops and hybrid classes via Zoom and MS Teams, ensuring seamless interaction between in-person and online participants, managing technology and fostering engagement across both formatsProviding general information/advice and assistance to students, parents and other stakeholders at events relating to studying at Macquarie Business SchoolParticipating in campus tours and guiding participants around campus, providing support for interactive program activities and information sessionsProviding support in event promotionProviding straightforward administrative assistance for student experience activities including the collection of data and more complex administrative activities under supervisionParticipating in social media activities such as appearing in promotional videos and photographs, to promote the facultyAfter-hours and/or weekend work both on and off campus may be required to support specific events and initiatives.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you have an outgoing, positive energy with enthusiasm for university life, community and the student journey.
