Our client, a leading government department, is seeking an experienced Superintendent Representative/Senior Contract Administrator to oversee major construction projects. If you have a strong background in contract administration and a keen eye for compliance, this could be your next role!About the Role:In this key position, you'll be responsible for supervising government building contracts, ensuring smooth execution, and maintaining the highest quality standards. From site inspections to contract compliance and dispute resolution, you'll play a pivotal role in project success.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Managing contract administration for complex government projects
  • Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance
  • Issuing variation orders
  • Reviewing contractual claims, and contractor requests
  • Overseeing quality assurance and Building Act compliance
  • Providing expert advice on dispute resolution and contract management
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Superintendent Representatives
  • Effectively communicate with clients and all project team members, in relation to all potential cost, time and quality issues.
  • Participate in the review and improvement of the operational effectiveness of the Business Unit's Quality Assurance procedures.
What We're Looking For:
  • Knowledge of contract administration (traditional & non-traditional contracts)
  • Previous experience in construction is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of government building contracts (multi-storey, modular housing, etc) is highly desirable
  • High attention to detail & strong communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management
