
Human Resources Officer

- Oversee the day to day HR functions for the business
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies and take responsibility for all in-house recruitment needs, including preparing job advertisements, shortlisting, reference checking, and onboarding
- Prepare all relevant documentation for employee agreements and contracts
- Maintain company training and development initiatives
- Maintain all internal HR and employee records
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues including procedures, legislation, and compliance
- Develop and implement relevant HR policies and procedures as required
- Develop and implement safe workplace practices and liaise with management on all workplace health and safety, including employee wellbeing
- You have the ability to communicate at all levels and can navigate your communication style to suit those you are working with
- Demonstrated previous experience in a HR role or similar, and a detailed understanding of internal HR systems and processes
- You have a natural optimism for work and possess a growth mindset
- Ideally you have formal qualifications in business, or human resources or a related field
- As this is a newly created role, you are happy to work in a highly hands-on, operational capacity as well as the 'bigger picture, strategy' type of work
