As our new Compliance Manager, you’ll be based at our global headquarters and collaborate with stakeholders across APAC, LATAM, EMEA, and North America. This is your chance to make a meaningful contribution in a purpose-driven, innovative company that transforms lives through hearing.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to support the enhancement of our global ethics and compliance management framework. You’ll play a key role in designing and embedding the framework across Cochlear’s global operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and industry best practices.This is a critical role for a compliance professional with deep expertise in operations, governance, and framework design, who thrives in a complex, matrixed environment and is passionate about driving ethical business practices.Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a global compliance framework.
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance topics including anti-bribery & corruption, sanctions, and conflicts of interest.
  • Partner with business units, risk & assurance, and regional legal teams to embed compliance into operations.
  • Lead the development and rollout of compliance policies, training, communications, and monitoring programs.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and oversee investigations, audits, and remediation activities.
  • Monitor global regulatory developments and proactively address emerging compliance risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in compliance processes using technology and data analytics.
  • Report to senior management and governance committees on program effectiveness and risk mitigation.
About YouYou’re a strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach and a passion for compliance. You bring:
  • 5+ years’ experience in risk management, compliance, legal, audit, or regulatory affairs—ideally within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess and prioritise risks.
  • Proven ability to embed compliance programs in complex environments.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High ethical standards, sound judgement, and a strong business mindset.
