- Full PPE including Hard Hat, Steel Cap Boots, Long Sleeve HiVis, Long Workwear Pants, Builders Gloves, Eye Protection and Ear Protection
- Australian driver's license & reliable transport
- Any other machine or Truck tickets such HR, HC, MR or MC.
- Any Demo experience – Residential or Commercial
- Any Asbestos Tickets or Supervisor Tickets
- Pipelaying Experience Highly Favourable

- Maintain safe tipping practices in tight or inclined work zones
- Work in coordination with excavators, loaders, and dozers
- Conduct pre-starts and routine maintenance checks
- Support bulk earthworks, drainage, and large-scale material movements
- Push and spread bulk materials (soil, rock, gravel) across large work zones
- Assist in levelling, grading, and shaping terrain
- Strip topsoil and assist in base preparation
- Create access roads, pads, and drainage paths
- Maintain material stockpiles and batter slopes
- Work around survey marks and GPS coordinates (if required)
- Conduct fine grading and finish work in tight or confined areas
- Load and distribute small loads of materials
- Clear debris, brush, and spoil quickly
- Maintain access paths and site cleanliness
- Assist with backfilling, compacting, and trench support
- Operate multiple attachments
- Operate grader to cut, spread, and level earth, gravel, and other materials to fine tolerances
- Perform rough and final trim grading for roads, pads, trenches, and drainage lines
- Work to laser, string line, and/or GPS (if equipped) to meet required levels and specifications
- Maintain consistent grade across long distances (e.g., roadways, subdivisions, infrastructure corridors)
- Create and shape drainage swales, table drains, batters, and shoulders
- Prepare surfaces for sealing, concrete pours, or pavement layers
- Operate across various site conditions (soft, uneven, sloped, confined)
- Coordinate with roller, water cart, and loader operators to ensure proper compaction and finish
- Conduct daily pre-starts and routine maintenance (blade checks, hydraulic inspection, etc.)
- Work closely with engineers, surveyors, and site supervisors to ensure grade accuracy
- Maintain awareness of underground services and environmental controls
- Adjust blade angle, pitch, and height for different terrain and grading tasks
- Operate water cart to suppress dust across active civil sites
- Fill, operate, and discharge water to designated areas (roads, trenches, stockpiles)
- Maintain safe speeds and awareness in high-traffic work zones
- Monitor and manage water usage throughout the day
- Assist in compaction processes by maintaining appropriate moisture levels
- Refill tanks from designated water sources or standpipes
- Conduct pre-start inspections and minor maintenance of the vehicle
- Work alongside roller and grader operators to aid material preparation
- Operate smooth drum or padfoot roller for compaction of subgrade and base layers
- Compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other materials to spec
- Work in coordination with grader and water cart to maintain compaction moisture levels
- Conduct rolling patterns to meet density and compaction targets
- Perform safe operation on inclines, edges, and around excavations
- Complete and document pre-start safety checks
- Assist in ground preparation prior to paving or construction
- Identify and report any inconsistencies or soft spots in materials
