Follow the link to find out what its like to live, work and play in our wonderful region:About the role:Research and Ethics Department is providing all necessary supports, education and guidance in relation to human research, human research ethics and research governance.Reporting to the Director of Research, the Research & Ethics Officer is responsible for providing routine to complex ethics and research governance administrative support to the Office of the Research Ethics.The primary responsibility of the Officer is to prepare agendas, take minutes, schedule and diarise meetings of multiple research, research governance, ethics committees and other related works as advised by the Director of Research.The appointee will provide clerical assistance and managing calendar for the Director of Research. The role will provide necessary administrative assistance to the Office of Research and Ethics.The role will be varied with wide exposure to different ethics and governance related context, and will be able to continue building research governance and research ethics related administrative skills in a supportive environment.Successful applicant will have:
- Administrative experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience in research ethics and research governance administrative work
- Knowledge in clinical research especially human ethics and governance processes
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
