
Data Governance Manager

- Develop, implement, and maintain the company-wide data governance strategy, policies, and standards.
- Establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities across business units.
- Lead the creation and enforcement of data classification frameworks to control sensitive data access.
- Ensure alignment with GDPR, CCPA, OAIC, and the upcoming Privacy Act reform.
- Define and monitor KPIs for data quality (accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency).
- Introduce automated data validation and cleansing processes to maintain accuracy in large-scale audience datasets.
- Champion a data-driven culture by educating teams on data governance principles and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data handling, storage, and transfer.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data governance, data management, or a related field, ideally within media, digital, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of privacy regulations and data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, OAIC).
- Familiarity with data governance tools and platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
