Are you an experienced Facilities and Estate Manager looking for a short term contract and ready to hit the ground running? Do you have demonstrated experience in business operations and/or facilities management?Are you based in CanberraIf you answered yes to these questions, then this just might be the role for you!
Duties:
- Plan, lead and oversee property management projects for the Agency
- Proactive and reactive management of facilities for a single-floor government agency.
- Coordinate access, for repairs and maintenance contractors, and be the first point of contact for all building and equipment requirements.
- Undertake risk assessments and managing risks relating to corporate projects.
- Engage with staff and leadership to provide advice and guidance on property management.
- Lead a small team through the setting of priorities and management of workloads to deliver on work and build capability in the team.
- Contribute to the activities of the broader Corporate Services team as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
- Independence and the ability to take ownership of deliverables.
- Excellent initiative, judgement and a proactive approach to the remediation of risks.
