About the roleAt ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive. We're making this happen by improving our customers' financial wellbeing so they can achieve incredible things - be it buying their home, building a business or saving for things big or small.We are looking for a Technical Solution Architect to support our institutional digital banking solutions that integrate across payments and core banking systems. You will be responsible for maintaining the technical vision, architecture and roadmap for the system landscape, as well as delivering solution architecture outcomes for ongoing feature demand.To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in designing and developing complex software solutions in the financial services industry, preferably in the digital banking, payments or core banking domains. You should also have strong knowledge of various technologies, such as web and mobile applications, cloud computing, data analytics, APIs, microservices, blockchain and artificial intelligence. You should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.What will your day look likeYou will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, testers and other architects to understand the requirements, challenges and opportunities of the Wholesale Digital Tech Area. You will also collaborate with external partners, vendors and regulators to ensure compliance, security and interoperability of the solution.

Define the technical vision, architecture and roadmap for Wholesale Digital
Design software components that integrate with payments and core banking systems
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools and frameworks
Ensure the quality, performance, scalability, security and reliability of the platform
Provide technical leadership and guidance to Architects and development teams
Resolve technical issues and risks as they arise
Communicate and present solution architecture and strategy to various stakeholders
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in digital banking

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in software development and architecture
Proven track record of designing and delivering successful software solutions in the financial services industry, preferably in the digital banking space
Expertise in various technologies, such as web and mobile applications, cloud computing, data analytics, APIs, microservices, blockchain and artificial intelligence
Familiarity with various standards, regulations and protocols in the financial services industry, such as ISO 20022
