Chandler Macleod is looking for a Machine Operator who is responsible for operating and monitoring the aluminium pressing machines on the production line to ensure efficient and safe production of aluminium components. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work as part of a team to meet production targets.Shift Time: Sunday night to Friday morning 9.00pm to 5.00am with overtime available.Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain aluminium pressing machines according to specifications.
Load raw aluminium materials into the press machines accurately.
Monitor machine operation for any irregularities or defects during the pressing process.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press machines to prevent downtime.
Record production data and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Collaborate with team members and maintenance staff to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating press machines or working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must have Forklift Ticket.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Good attention to detail and quality control.
